Mission Statement

At The Bridge, we seek to minister to your children in the truest sense, not just provide an hour of child care on Sunday mornings.  Our heart and desire is to partner with parents to help build a strong spiritual foundation for their children. We strive to provide solid age-appropriate Biblical Teaching and instruction so that each one of the kids we have been entrusted with grows in becoming Theological, Relational, and Missional.

Child Safety and Security

For the safety and security of your child, first-time visitors will need to fill out a registration card at our Check-In desk. Once the card is filled out, you will fill out a numbered security sticker that has two portions. The larger portion is placed on the pre-school child’s back and is used as their name tag.  Please KEEP the smaller portion. You will need it for the following purposes:

  • Parent Paging — If an issue arises or if your child needs you, the number on your child’s security tag will be displayed in the worship gathering. If you see this number displayed on the screen, please return to your child’s room and show the classroom teacher your sticker.
  • Child Pick-Up: — We want to assure parents/guardians that their child will be released only to the appropriate adult. When picking up your child, you must present your portion of the security tag before we can release him or her to you. For safety and security reasons, we will only release children to a parent or guardian not to older siblings or friends of the family.
  • Our Pre-School Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to our worship gathering.

Volunteers

In effort to provide a safe and clean environment for your child to learn and grow in the knowledge and love of Christ, we also carefully screen each Kids’ Ministry volunteer, make sure there are at least two adults in every class at all times, strive to make sure our teacher: child ratios are correct, and clean our Kids’ Ministry rooms and toys after each usage.
