EARLY CHILDHOOD

The mission and desire of the Early Childhood Ministry is to partner with parents to build a strong spiritual foundation for their children. God has blessed us with the privilege to care for and teach the truths of scripture to children birth through 5 years old. We believe that it is possible to share the love of Christ with a child from the day of their birth. In Bridge Kids Early Childhood, there are three main truths we would like each child to learn: God made me. God loves me. Jesus wants to be my friend forever. These truths come alive through age appropriate Bible teaching, hands-on activities, crafts and songs. Each of these is presented with the learning style of your child in mind. It is our hope that these truths take a firm hold of our children’s hearts and are carried with them for the rest of their lives

ELEMENTARY

The goal of the Elementary Ministry is to help kids (kindergarten through 5th grade) become confident in God’s character by engaging God and being connected to others. We also want our elementary kids to begin experiencing corporate worship with their families; therefore, they begin in the main worship gathering (with their parents) and are dismissed after the singing. The Sunday morning elementary environment is comprised of large group teaching, small group discussion, and fun activities. Every lesson is centered on growing kids’ confidence in God by connecting them to the character of God and others. We ultimately want our kids to know God and trust Him. We also know that teaching our kids about God’s character is a huge task and requires much more than a Sunday morning class; therefore, we equip and encourage parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their children.

SUNDAY CHECK-IN & SECURITY

  • All kids (6 weeks to 5th grade) must check in at the Bridge Kids Check-in Station.
  • Kids Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to our worship gatherings.
  • At check-in, all kids will receive a name tag with a unique number.
  • Parents/guardians get a stub with a matching number.
  • When you are picking up your kids from their class, the numbers on the name tag stickers will be matched (so hold on to that stub). Our teachers will only release children to a parent or guardian or other people who the parents/guardians approve at check-in.
  • If an issue arises or if your child needs you, that unique number on your child’s security tag will be displayed in the worship gathering. If you see this number displayed on the screen, please return to your child’s room and show the classroom teacher your sticker.
