We have 4 Mission Trips planned for 2012!

 

1) Pune, India- Friday the 17th-28th of February for a vision trip. Pray for myself, Alan and Shivonne Hood, Jennifer Campbell, and John Beene. Pray for safety, wisdom, and guidance. We will be engaging several Indians and building relationships with national missionaries in order to network with the long term goal of planting amongst high caste Indians (upper class).

We will be working with an orphanage while we are there and learning from Student Mobilization on how to share the gospel in a way that Indians will understand.

2) Jacmel, Haiti on July 7th-13th. The cost of this trip will be $1,300. We need a $650 nonrefundable deposit by May 1st! We will be building homes for some who lost their houses in the earthquake, helping in a feeding center that feeds 350 kids A DAY for 3 meals a day, and we will have someone women shepherding and praying with Haitian women (there is a big void here). Some others and myself will also be investing in some of the local pastors there. Those are the 4 primary areas we will be serving along with a few other small projects.

3) San Rafael, Guatemala on July 7th-14th. The cost of this trip will be no more than $1,500. We need a deposit of $250 by March 11th and a nonrefundable deposit of $750 by April 1st . On this trip we will be doing construction, VBS (for about 200 kids!), door to door evangelism, and food distribution! There is a new church plant in San Rafael that we will be helping. This is also a very poor village. Our very own, John Howard, will be leading this trip!

Both the Guatemala & Haiti trips are going to be GREAT trips! The dates are the same, but we will be doing some different work between the two! Please prayerfully consider which one God would have you and your family go on! God is worthy to be praised from ALL the nations and this is a good chance for us to be gospel-people around the world!

4) Madison, Wisconsin on July 24th-29th! We will be supporting a new church plant we have partnered with- The Vine Church! We will be doing service projects for them Wednesday-Saturday. Saturday will be the BIG day of service in which several things will be promoted in the community and their church will be working alongside us all day that day. That evening we will be doing a big meal with their church! We will do a couple of prayer walks to pray over the city of Madison and for the Vine Church. We will also help spread the word about The Vine Church throughout the city! Madison is one of the least evangelical cities in America at 5%. Madison, Wisconsin is about 10 hours away and we will be driving up on Tuesday the 24th and home on Sunday after church. I am still working on final cost, but I believe it will be around the $500 range.

Our goal is to see 60 Bridgers go on Mission outside of our community this summer! Parents, there is not a better way to shaping your kids hearts to live a life for the glory of God than taking them on a Missions trip at a young age! It doesn’t matter if that is Guatemala, Haiti, or Madison, WI!
